If you’re looking to travel with your UTV, hauling it is the best option! To learn how to correctly haul your vehicle, take a look at our helpful guide below. If you’re still looking to buy a UTV, feel free to visit our location in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.

Tow Vehicle

The first thing you’ll need to check is your tow vehicle’s weight and towing limitations, as well as the weight of your UTV. Thankfully, all of this information can be found in your owner’s manuals. If you're traveling with quite a few passengers or extra luggage, you’ll also need to consider their weight when hauling your UTV.

Packing

If you’re traveling in an abnormally large or heavy-duty towing vehicle, you may not need to worry about packing lightly. However, if this isn’t the case, we encourage you to weigh your luggage before packing your vehicle to the brim. We also advise making space for a few important UTV accessories. An empty gas can, a first-aid kit, and necessary tools are all important items you’ll want on hand in case of an emergency.

Tools

Speaking of tools, there are a couple you’ll need to have to help you load your UTV safely. Wheel chocks, tie-down straps, and D-ring anchors are all important items you’ll need to keep your UTV in place as you drive. You’ll also want some ramps on hand to make loading your UTV a little easier.
